Prov.3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. [14] For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. [15] She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.

One of the greatest attributes of man is his wisdom, and one of the greatest attributes of God is His wisdom, and man’s wisdom was designed to be after God’s word, and man was to desire more knowledge and wisdom of his Creator. God created man to love wisdom and understanding, and He created the man to have a desire to teach, and operate upon wisdom, understanding, judgment. And because of this unique nature of desiring knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and instruction, Satan saw the man as a ‘unique opportunity’ for himself also to exercise ‘his wisdom,’ ‘his understanding,’ and ‘his will’ upon man. Satan found the ‘perfect opportunity’ to impose his own wisdom upon Adam as he was being educated by God.

Prov.3:[5] Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
[6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
[7] Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

Satan knew that man would embrace and seek after wisdom and understanding and knowledge itself. All he had to do was get Adam to ‘buy into,’ and find his wisdom enticing unto him, and something that he too would ‘love to tell others.’ This is how man chooses which type of knowledge he will allow to ‘enter into his heart.’ And it must be pleasant unto his soul, it must be the wisdom that he feels that would be pleasant unto the men that he will now desire to educate as well. This is “well pleasing’ to the men of this world, and man ‘delights in,’ and ‘searches for’ new wisdom. But the wisdom of God was to be sought after as precious unto him, and when the word of God entered into the man’s heart, it was to be pleasant unto his soul. The heart of man is where the power of God, or the power of Satan is manifested. And whomsoever the man gives himself over unto, he will now serve based upon his ‘heart’s desire.’

Prov.2:6] For the LORD Giveth Wisdom: Out Of His Mouth Cometh Knowledge And Understanding. [7] He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. [8] He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints. [9] Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. [10] When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

Moreover, the question becomes, why does the man find God’s word as of no value unto him? This is because the men of this world desires of this world what will be well pleasing unto Him, and what will make him “happy.” And as Romans chapter 1:28 says, men did not “like to” retain God in their knowledge, their “foolish heart” is darkened, and instead of a “wise” heart, and only a ‘fool’ would “despise” his Father’s wisdom and instruction. But God’s heart can be affected by our hearts operating upon His wisdom, He can rejoice when we allow His Word to be the ‘apple of our eye.’ But just as Proverbs chapter 3, verses 5-7 teaches, the saint must “trust” in the Lord’s word with “ALL” our heart, and not trust in our own understanding, nor trust in the foolish wisdom of men.

Prov.23:15] My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine.[16] Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things.

Furthermore, a “wise” son would listen to the wisdom and instruction from his parents, he would ‘take to heart,’ or take their advice as something he could “trust.” And a child that has followed the wisdom and instruction from their parents are usually children whom the parents would say are a ‘chip off the old block.’ And this saying goes after the meaning that their child is after their image, and in their own likeness, and he thinks like his parents, he does things like his parents, and he works with his parents in whatever they desire to achieve. But the heart of the man loves what makes him “happy,” and this is what we are taught in 2^nd Timothy 3:2, that “men shall be lovers of their own selves.” And in 2^nd Timothy 4:3, that “after their own lusts” men will not “endure sound doctrine, because sound doctrine does not glorify the man, it glorifies God. This is where the men of this world are not able to “endure sound doctrine,” because godliness is selfless, and it values and esteems others more than themselves, but today, the men of this world teach the doctrine of ‘self love,’ and whatever makes him happy.

Rom.1:21] Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
[22] Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Rom.1:28] And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate [perverted] mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Finally, God gave the man the nature to desire to be educated, and desire to also teach his ‘new foundation wisdom’ unto others. But only a foolish man with a darkened heart would be as Proverbs chapter 1:7 says: “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction” of his own Creator! But the wise of this world not only trust in their own hearts and its vain imagination about God, and “changed the truth of God into a lie,” but also they have worked to ‘know not God’ all together. And by not retaining God in their knowledge, they have filled their hearts and minds with the knowledge of men, and men over the last 100 years have worked to ‘preach’ his wisdom that even the existence of God is “foolishness,” but what they do not know is, just as they “did not like to retain God in their knowledge,” and trust in their own darkened heart, God will manifest them as “fools,” and their damnation will be just.

1^st Cor.1:20] Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
[21] For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
