Just Suppose …

The twenty-four questions and statements of the Biblical facts below are to help us realize what every person, believers and the unbelievers, need to know… in order to arrive at an inwardly peaceable, fulfilling, enjoyable, and meaningful life.

The Biblical facts that I’ve written here cover the key points concerning becoming a genuine Christian believer and understanding the Christian’s intimate relationship with God as their loving Father.

These will help us to see how the truth of the Bible will affect our view ofthe God, our life, death, and this worldto the benefit of our daily life here on earth today and thereafter.

As you read, you should ask, what do these points of Biblical truth mean to me? (You can look up the verses noted after each statement of truth in the Bible… to let them speak to you.)

  1. Just suppose you knew that today there’s only One Apostle of God who was specifically sent “to the Gentiles” with a special message for this age in which we live. (Rom. 11:13, Eph. 3:1-5)

  1. Just suppose that this One Apostle had received important God-given information for you and all mankind of this age concerning God’s love and grace for salvation and successful daily living; information that had Been Kept Secret Since the World Began,” until this age in which you now live. (Rom. 16:25)

  1. Just suppose this One Apostle’s epistles told you God has made a way for you to come to Him and be accepted WITHOUT any intermediary, or ‘church’ affiliation, or having to perform to any religious law, ritual, or rite… but to simply come to Him By Faith in what Jesus has done for you in His at the cross… to make you accepted. (Rom. 5:1-6, 8:34)

  1. Just suppose you knew, from this One Apostle’s writings, that God loves you, unconditionally and has made a way by which you could become His loved child, destined to go home and dwell with Him in heaven… eternally. (Rom. 5:8, 2Cor 5:1b, Philippians 3:20-21)

  1. Just suppose then that only this One Apostle also wrote thirteen inspired letters (Romans to Philemon) to tell mankind all that they absolutely need to know about God ... and then also that the whole Bible is given to expand our understanding of God and His purposes through the ages, unto eternity. (2Tim. 3:16)

  1. Now, just suppose that you Believe the Biblical Truth that Jesus died for your sins and you can be free of Sin’s power and sin’s burden upon your soul. (John 8:6, Rom. 8:2))

  1. Then, just suppose you’re aware of your shortcomings, which the Bible calls ‘sins,’ and that your sins had separated you from God, but you knew Jesus died at that cross to pay your sin-debt. (1Cor 15:3-4)

  1. Just suppose then that since you do believe Jesus has saved you from your sins and sin-debt, God no longer sees any of your sins, rather, He sees you now as being already “Holy and Blameless”… because your life is now hid with Christ in God. (Eph. 1:3-4, Col. 3:3)

  1. Just suppose you knew that though that you sometimes may still willfully sin, on occasion, ALL your sins (past, present, and future sins) have already been totally forgiven. (Col 2:13)

  1. Just suppose that you knew that, now as a believer, you can never be condemned by God. (Rom. 8:1)
  2. Just suppose you knew that, now as a believer, because of God’s grace and love for you, you can approach God at any time, in any place, all the time… even if you’ve sinned again. (Eph. 2:18, 3:12)

  1. Just suppose that you knew you now have a new life, as a new creature in Christ, and that your Old Life and sins are gone, since your Old Life died with Christ, so your old life does not have any hold upon you. (2Cor. 5:17)

  1. Just suppose that, knowing you have died with Christ and have new life in union with Christ, you are free from the things of the world system that would pull you down. (Gal. 6:14)
  2. Then, just suppose you knew that Jesus, in His resurrected form as “the Spirit of life in Christ,” has come to actually live His life in you and through you, through your mind, emotion, and will. (Col. 1:26-27; Rom. 8:8-10)

  1. Just suppose you knew that Jesus Christ… is always with you and in you… now as your real life. (Gal. 2:20)

  1. Just suppose that you knew “Christ in you” is able to peaceably guide you, from the inside, concerning the details of your daily living on earth. (Col. 3:15)

  1. Just suppose that you knew that “the Spirit of Christ” is in you as “the power of Godand He is able to make you become righteous in your daily living. (Rom. 8:29-30)

  1. Now, just suppose you knew that God, as your Father, is all the time at work helping you change your life, to conforming both your willing and your doing… to His righteous will. (Philippians 2:13)

  1. Just suppose that ‘anything’ that happens to you in the course of your daily life on earth is fully in the hands of the very same Lord who… loved you so much that Jesus died for you. (2 Cor. 5:18)

  1. Just suppose that you knew whatever circumstances occur in you daily life… are all working for your eternal good and according to His eternal plan… which is to actually renew your soul… that it might reflect Jesus’ mind, emotion and will. (Rom. 8:28)

  1. Just suppose you knew this life on earth is very short and that… your life is eternal. (Titus 3:7, Philippians 3:20-21)

  1. But then suppose that you knew that you already possess Christ’s own “eternal life” … in you and that His LIFE in you can never be lost. (John 5:11-12)

  1. Then suppose you knew the way to heaven, and that Jesus is soon coming to bring you home to dwell with him “eternal in the heavens.” (Rom. 6:23, 2Cor. 5:1)

  1. Just suppose that you have responded to the offer of new life in Christ and have entered into the joy, peace, and security of personally KNOWING Jesus Christ as your Savior. John 14:27
