Modern Bible Blunders

Two of the many Thousands of Flagrant NIV Mistranslations, common to most so-called modern translation such as the ESV, NASB, etc.

KJV: Psalm 12:6-7 King James Version (KJV)

“6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.”

Notice verse “7...thou shalt preserve them.." The "them" is words of the Lord in the previous verse.

NIV: Psalm 12:6-7 New International Version (NIV)

6 And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver purified, refined seven times. 7 You Lord, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked,... “

Another NIV corruption:

Now compare these verses. A key word is missing in the NIV, which is CRITICAL to understanding Dispensations and the gospel of your salvation (Ephesians 1:13).

KJV - 1 Timothy 1:16 King James Version (KJV)

“Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me FIRST Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.”

NIV - 1 Timothy 1:16 New International Version (NIV)

“But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.”

The word “FIRST” is missing in the NIV. The word “FIRST” shows any honest reader that Paul was FIRST in something. The verse (KJB) says, "that in me (Paul) first," then you see a TIME related word, "for a pattern to them which should hereafter." So, we have a “prototype” as the “pattern” that is Paul, who was “FIRST” and from Paul to hereafter, thus applying to us today, we who simply trust 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 and NOT the Messianic Kingdom Gospel, which we grace believers have no part in.
