The Oneness of “the fulness of times”

Below, in Ephesians 3:9-11, Paul makes a statement regarding the “the mystery [Gk. musterion, the God-ordained secret]” of Christ literally indwelling all His believers “in heaven and on earth.”

Paul refers to this as “the fellowship of the mystery,” meaning the literal union of Christ indwelling every believer of all the Biblical aions (ages) This is to be seen in the time of the grand finale of all ages and for eternity. This will be the full revelation of God’s amazing wisdom in His eternal plan … for all mankind and the angelic realm to see.

9And to make all men see what is the fellowship [Gk. koinonia, communion between God and man] of the mystery [Gk. musterion, the secret according to the God-ordained plan],”

which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

10 To the intent [of God] that now unto the principalities and powers [who are currently] in heavenly places [the fallen angels] might be known by the church [Gk. ecclesia, the called out of mankind] the manifold wisdom of God,

11 According to the eternal purpose which he [Father God] purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:” (Ephesians 3:9-11 (KJV)

This will be the glorious consummation of “the mystery.” This eternal perfect union of God in man will demonstrate to “all men” (v9) and ‘the fallen angels’ (v10) … that the true ‘oneness between God and man’ is to be found only “in [union with] Christ” (Eph. 3:9-11).

The world knows nothing of this perfect oneness and the Church members today do not experience it — except by their ‘union Christ.’ There is no true oneness anywhere — in the world or even in the Churchexcept “in Christ.”

The ‘oneness’ at the end of all ages is demonstrated dually. For it is seen by;

  1. Christ’s indwelling Spirit union with the members of “the body of Christ” will co-reign with them in “the new heaven” (cf. 2Tim. 2:12).
  2. Christ’s Spirit indwelling the believing Kingdom saints will co-reign with them in Israel’s long-promised eternal Kingdom on “the new earth.” (cf. Rev. 5:10, 20:6)

In the creation of Adam God’s intent was to ultimately recover “the heaven and the earth.” (Gen 1:1). Both “the heaven and the earth” had been corrupted and usurped by Lucifer. Thus, Job wrote that “the heavens are not clean in His sight” (Job 15:15). And we know how that the Serpent corrupted Adam and mankind, thus all need the redemption that is found in Christ’s cross-work.

So, God has ordained two people groups; Israel to ultimately co-reign with Christ on earth, and the church, called “the body of Christ” to ultimately co-reign in the heavens… both in union with Christ.

Cornelius Stam wrote:

“We might illustrate this by two members of our one physical body: our two arms. They hang from opposite sides of the body yet work together as one. But wherein lies their oneness? The answer is: In ‘the head.’ It is ‘the head’ which makes my arms and hands operate as one, and so our oneness as members of Christ’s Body, is in Christ, who is “the Head of the body.” It is the recognition of Christ as our Head, and this alone, that can make us one, experientially. Thus, the Apostle says:

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 2:5).”

The Lord will Rapture us out of this world and all these events will transpire to finally bring in “the fulness of [the] times,” when all of us in heaven and those on earth will be “gathered together in onein Christ”!

“That in the dispensation of the fulness of times [at the end of all ages] he [Father God] might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in [union with] him:” (“Ephesians 1:10 (KJV)
