Our Unbreakable Appointment (updated)

Look anywhere in this country and the world and take note of what you see in the light of pandemics, wars and calamities. If you’re observant, you see fear, panic, desperation on a global scale. The myriad of terrible events we see are just the small beginnings of what’s in store. I believe we are on the precipice of the Biblical end-times events. This will bring us to face the fact that every soul who has ever lived has an unbreakable appointment that will be kept.

“… it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” (Hebrews 9:27 (KJV)

For those of you who have perhaps said that you wanted to live as it was “in bible times,” your wish is being granted. But much more ‘on deck.’ We now live in a post-Christian pagan era and country, in a time quite like it was in pagan biblical times when men worshiped and served themselves and everything but the Lord.

The whole world is going through pains of some sort. This sin-cursed world is literally groaning to be released from its bondage and pain wrought by the Sin-nature that indwells the flesh of all mankind, now freely running amok. Most people on earth are having their lives agonizingly disrupted. Jesus spoke of the last days of the coming Tribulation period saying; “And except [unless] those days [of the Tribulation sufferings] should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.” (Matt. 24:22)

Who Is Behind All This … and What Is Its End?

Is this due to the Great Reset of the New World Order, the Illuminati, the Bilderbergers, or perhaps the work of Satan? No, the answer requires us to we look higher. Jesus’ disciples asked somewhat the same question.

“And as he [Jesus] sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the End of the world [aion, the Age]?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed That No Man Deceive You. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and Shall Deceive Many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all These Things Must Come To Pass, but The End Is Not Yet.

For Nation Shall Rise Against Nation, And Kingdom Against Kingdom: And There Shall Be Famines, And Pestilences [Pandemics], And Earthquakes, in divers places. All these ARE THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS.” (Matt. 24:3-8 (KJV)

In the light of all this we might well now remember the God whowe never had time for as we planned our ‘career path’ and saved our money into 401Ks, and perhaps got busy marrying and raising children. But our assumed earthly security is fleeting and will worsen as governments collapse and their fiat sovereign ‘money’ comes to nil as stabilizing Judeo-Christian culture is replaced by Marxism. Remember all those days where we had neither the time nor desire for God and instead, spent our time living carelessly, tailgating at the sports stadium or concerts? The fact is that God remembers and knows ‘the very thoughts and intents of our hearts,’ to this He would say;

“Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your earnings for what does not satisfy? Hearken diligently to Me [ the Lord], and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness [the richness of spiritual joy].” (Isaiah 55:2 (AMP)

As the awful events around awaken us and strikes our hearts, we should begin to recognize how fragile this corrupt manmade world system is. God is reminding us in no uncertain terms that we all have an ‘Unbreakable Appointment with Himsooner rather than later… some, as genuine Christ believers, have an eternal destiny with “eternal glory” (2Tim. 2:10) and all others unto “everlasting destruction” (1Tim. 1:9 (KJV)

All around us there is fear, panic, desperation on a global scale and yet the big stuff hasn’t even begun. These are but the birth pangs of ‘the end of the age.’ Jesus said; “All these are the beginning of sorrows.” (Matt. 24:8). God’s coming wrath and judgment that will fall upon the majority, the rebellious people who refuse to believe. This includes the many ‘deceived religious people.’ In fact, the Bible tells us two-thirds of humanity will die in the coming 7-year Tribulation. All mankind falls under the description of the rebels against God, as defined in the verses below.

“…  for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound [religious] doctrine;” (1Timothy 1:9-10 (KJV)

"And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet Repented Not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

21Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries [entertaining demonic spirit via fortune tellers and the life], nor of their fornication [sex outside of marriage], nor of their thefts." (Revelation 9:20-21 (KJV)

The truth is that none of us, vaccinated or unvaccinated, have a guarantee of seeing tomorrow or even seeing the completion of this very day. Do you really think you are exempt from your ‘Unbreakable Appointment’ with God because of the mRNA vaccine? Do you really think the tyrannical governments of “this world” are your savior?

“In whom the god of this world [the Devil] hath blinded the minds of them which believe Not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” (2 Corinthians 4:4)

Every nation on earth is in a panic right now as events will continue to spiral out of control, while political leaders fight for the right to captain the Titanic, that ship that they had said even God couldn't sink. There is a general sense of hopelessness and impending doom overhanging the world, even while some choose to bury their heads in the sand.

On our behalf, Jesus faced the doom of the Cross to pay for our rebellion and sin, and His obedience unto death liberates us from the bondage of this world.

“Verily, verily, I [Jesus] say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. This spake he [Jesus], Signifying By What Death He Should Glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.” (John 21:18-19 (KJV)

Everyone claims to want their lives to go back to normal, but there is no normal anymore. The abnormal is the new normal until the end of this age. Being under the influence of the evil one, the world has become twisted…e.g., ‘abortion good, death penalty for murder is bad.’ Scripture says; “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20)

It appears that the Lord has begun to remove His restraining power of the Holy Spirit over this evil as this 2,000-year age of God’s grace presses toward its end. The unleashing of the evils of this world hopefully will alarm any fence sitters, who have not yet believed to receive Christ as Savior… the end is drawing nigh.

But we do have God’s message of hope to be found in the Bible, which is not found in anything that this world has to offer. Our world is crying out because everything is going downhill at warp speed, yet, for believers all this foreboding sense of doom tells usHis coming is soon!

So, we can look up (Luke 21:28) and live, or we can look away from God’s free offer of salvation; for we all have as Unbreakable Appointment’ with our Creator.

  • For those lost souls who refuse to believe… their appointment is with “the wrath of God”;
  • But for those who believe and trust in the death, burial, and resurrection, of the Lord Jesus Christ as the basis of their eternal salvationwe have the “blessed hope” of our Rapture to dwell with Him “eternal in the heavens.”

“For our conversation [Old English for Citizenship] Is in Heaven; from whence also We Look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21 Who shall change our vile [physical] body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body [resurrected spirit-body], according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.” (Philippians 3:20-21 (KJV) “For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle [our physical body] were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house [a new spirit-body] not made with hands, Eternal in The Heavens.” (2 Corinthians 5:1)

Behold, I shew you a mystery [Grk. musterion, secret]; We shall not all sleep [in death], but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we [the living] shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on INCORRUPTION, and this mortal shall have put on IMMORTALITY, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” (1 Corinthians 15:51-55 (KJV)

“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep [believers who are dead in their graves], that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For If We Believe That Jesus Died And Rose Again, even so Them Also Which Sleep [Died] In Jesus Will God Bring With Him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent [precede] them which are asleep [dead in their graves]. 16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain Shall Be Caught Up Together With Them In The Clouds, To Meet The Lord In The Air: and So, Shall We Ever Be With The Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (1 Thes. 4:13-18 (KJV)

“For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle [our physical body] were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house [our new spirit-body] not made with hands, Eternal In The Heavens.” (2 Corinthians 5:1 (KJV)
