The Scarlet Harlot’s worldwide religion will manifest itself soon after the Rapture of “the body of Christ” to heaven. It will have had its roots in and emerge from… an already existing corrupt ‘religious organization’ on earth today, one that was for good reason ‘left behind’ at the Rapture. This pre-existing ‘corrupt religion’ will blossom to become the Harlot religion of Revelation 17 and 18. It will quickly spring to the fore after the Rapture, in support of the Antichrist whose stature in the world will have only then been just emerging and is in need of the Harlot’s worldwide ‘credibility.’

Note here how Satan’s plans for the Antichrist, “that Wicked One,” are currently being largely ‘held in check’ by the Holy Spirit, and he will be ‘held in check’ until the Rapture of the members of the “Body of Christ,” those who are indwelled by the Holy Spirit.

“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he [the Holy Spirit] who now letteth [Gk. katecho, holds down] will let [restrict], UNTIL He [the Holy Spirit] Be Taken Out of The Way [with the Rapture].

⁸ And Then Shall That Wicked [One] Be Revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy [Gk. kartargeo, render powerless] with the brightness of his [Christ’s] coming:

⁹ Even [that is] him [Antichrist], whose coming is after The Working of Satan with all Power and Signs and Lying Wonders, ¹⁰ And with all Deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish [Gk. apollymi; are to be utterly destroyed, cf. 2Thes. 1:9] because they Received Not the Love of The Truth, that they might be saved.

¹¹ And for this cause [intent] God shall send them strong delusion, that they should Believe a Lie [the lies of Satan]: ¹² [so] That they all might be damned [Gk. katakrino, sentenced] who Believed Not The Truth, but Had Pleasure In Unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:7-12 (KJV, enhanced)

With the Holy Spirit’s restraint upon Satan being removed, God permits Satan’s plan to fully go forward as part of God’s judgements to come upon the earth… to “purge out … the rebels.”

³⁸ And I will purge out from among you [the believers of Israel] the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. (Ezekiel 20:38 (KJV)

These below are yet more particulars about the Scarlet Harlot, but only briefly explained for now.

1. The religion in which the ‘Scarlet Harlot’ is rooted has at one time ruled over many nations. This means the Harlot’s root religion has had global reach, such that she can support and enable the Antichrist’s ‘worldwide’ rise to power.

¹⁵ And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. (Revelation 17:15 (KJV)

2. The Harlot is to be headquarted in a “great city,” indicates that she represents a very real and specific, already known and respected ‘worldwide’ religious organization.

¹⁸ And the woman [the Harlot] which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. (Revelation 17:18 (KJV)

3. The Harlot’s base “city” is famously located in “seven hills,” which further signals the reality of this currently existing religious organization’s location, providing an important clue as to the exact location of the soon coming Harlot’s headquarters.

⁹ And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains [Gk. oros, or ‘hills’], on which the woman sitteth [within that “great city”]. (Revelation 17:9 (KJV)

4. The Harlot’s root religion has a history of Pandering to Political leaders ‘worldwide,’ while serving as the religious opiate of the ‘worldwide’ masses of people who she can influence toward receiving the “Scarlet Beast,” the Antichrist. She will be rooted in a false religion that already possesses stature having; church, state, and commercial involvement ‘WORLDWIDE’ (Rev 17:9)

² With whom the kings [political leaders] of the earth have committed fornication [Gk. porneuo, spiritual idolatry], and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine [‘under the influence’ of the lies] of her fornication [spiritual idolatry], (Revelation 17:2 (KJV)

The Harlot’s commercial reach is described here in the account of the ultimate destruction of “Mystery, Babylon the Great, The Mother of Harlots” as seen in Revelation 18.

¹⁰ Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that Great City Babylon [metaphorically], that mighty city! for In One Hour is Thy Judgment Come [upon her]. ¹¹ And the merchants [her business partners] of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: ¹² The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine [sweet smelling] wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, ¹³ And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and Slaves, and Souls of Men. 5. The Harlot’s root religion has historically martyred many genuine Christian believers and will martyr God’s believers of Israel in the future Tribulation period. This means whatever current religion the Harlot represents it has a history of killing God’s genuine believers and is predicted to repeat that behavior.

 ⁶ And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the MARTYRS of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration [Gk. thauma, wonder]. Revelation 17:5-6 (KJV)

6. The Harlot root religion has killed 2 or more of God’s Biblical Holy Apostles. This helps us to narrowing down the possibilities in identifying this ‘worldwide’ root religion of the Harlot along with the “great city” where she is headquartered. I will later name these ‘Two Apostles’ killed by her.

²⁰ Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye Holy Apostles and Prophets; for God hath Avenged You [the Apostles killed] On Her. (Revelation 18:20 (KJV)

7. The Harlot’s root religion is historically guilty of great crimes and sins, meaning whichever existing religion this is, it has a historically traceable sinful record during many years of human history.

8. Ultimately, the coming Harlot Religion will be hated and made “desolate (abandoned)” by the coming “Ten Kings,” who then will submit their power, authority, and geographic regions of the world … directly to the rule of Antichrist. This means that the reign of the Harlot world religion has, as Bill Salus says, “an expiration date,” which is Mid-Tribulation.

¹⁶ And the ten horns [Ten Kings] which thou sawest upon [carried on] the beast [Antichrist], these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate [abandoned] and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. (Revelation 17:16 (KJV)

9. Thus, the Harlot Religion will then be REPLACED by Antichrist himself. At the Mid-Tribulation the Antichrist will longer stand for any ‘competing religion’ or ‘religious figures,’ even if they too are corrupt. This means the Antichrist will no longer be seen as subservient to the Harlot who initially helped establish him.

The Antichrist will then fully assume his Satanic role as the charismatic, evil, ‘Worldwide’ ruler, initiating his ‘Worldwide’ campaign of tyranny, terror, and death over mankind.

¹⁷ For God hath put in their hearts [the Ten Kings] to fulfil his [Antichrist’s] will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast [the Antichrist], until the [Prophetic] words of God shall be fulfilled. (Revelation 17:17 (KJV)

You will note above how often I’ve used the word “Worldwide” as an aspect of the end-times reign of the ‘Scarlet Harlot religion’ and ‘Antichrist.’ I’ve often used the word “worldwide” in this study series to help explain why all genuine Bible believing Christians ought to oppose the ‘worldwide’ leftist push for ‘Globalism’ and a ‘One World Government.’

However, I caution that we ought not to be ‘activist’ in any way … other than making known how this current push to Globalism is precursor to … the good news of our soon coming Rapture to “the heavenly places.” The Rapture will, after a short time, be followed by the terrible 7-year Tribulation period and Jesus Christ’s 2^nd coming to set up His Millennial Kingdom on earth.

Today we need to concentrate on declaring and teaching “the word of truth” to save the lost …  not trying to change the world that will soon, inescapably, be judged with God’s ‘wrath’ by the greatest of calamities!

Today’s progressive leftist movement toward ‘one-worldism’ is not new. It began in the USA a little over 100 years ago with President Woodrow Wilson who in 1919 made the first attempt to sign America onto ‘The League of Nations,’ which was precursor to today’s corrupt ‘United Nations,’ which seeks to establish ‘Worldwide’ Globalist Control.

Every day of delay before the Rapture and the subsequent Tribulation judgments is time for more souls to be saved “by grace through faith” alone in Jesus Christ as their Personal Saviour.

Today is the day of Salvation! (2Cor. 6:2)

Without realizing it, the ignorant people involved as ‘leftist activist’ today are pawns being used of Satan to prepare the world for “Mystery, Babylon the Great, The Mother of Harlots and Abominations of The Earth,” who will then pick up from where today’s ‘leftists’ leave off… in support of Antichrist’s ‘Worldwide’ Reign’ of Evil, Terror, Destruction, and Death.

I sincerely believe we are nearing the time of the Rapture of the Gentile “body of Christ” off planet earth to dwell eternally in “the heavenly places” (1Thes. 4:13-18, 1Cor. 15:51-55, Philippians 3:20-21, 2Corinthians 5:1b).

The Rapture must occur before the time of God’s release of the reign of the ‘Scarlet Harlot Religion’ and the ‘Scarlet Beast,’ the Antichrist, upon the world because the “Apostle to the Gentles,” Paul, tells us we as ‘grace age believers’ are “NOT appointed us to [subject to God’s] wrath.”
