Today we as believers know that ALL things were created by Jesus Christ and for Him… ALL things are redeemed and reconciled through Jesus Christ’s blood and Cross-work. ALL things will bring glory [honor] to God … by the Believer’s Free-Willing Decision to Receive and Live in Union with Jesus Christ.

“For of him [Jesus], and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever.” – Rom. 11:36

Paul says All things of creation concerned God’s eternal Plan and Purpose in Creation.

“According to the Eternal Purpose which He [the Father] Purposed In Christ Jesus our Lord:” - Eph. 3:11

“And he [Jesus Christ] is the head of the body, the church: [Him] who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; [so] that In All Things He Might Have The Preeminence.” - Colossians 1:18

Before Lucifer’s fall the ‘heavenly angelic host’ had been originally created by and for Jesus Christ. But after Lucifer’s fall to the lower heaven, the 2^nd heaven, he usurped the ‘heavenly government over the earth.’ Thus, Job wrote what he knew, that “the heavens are unclean.”

“For by him [Jesus Christ] were all things created, that are In Heaven, and That are In Earth, visible and invisible, whether they be  thrones, or dominions [on earth], or principalities, or [the angelic] powers [in the heavens]: all things were [originally] created by him, and for him: - Colossians 1:16 (KJV)

Since Lucifer’s fall to the 2^nd heaven, the seats of rank and authority in the government of heaven became the home of “spiritual wickedness in high [the heavenly] places.” Thus, Paul wrote of our enemy who emanates from that spheres of the rank and authority in the ‘Satanic heavenly government,’ … which corresponds to the ‘human governments of rank and authority on earth.’ The heavenly government influences their earthly human counterparts to manipulate and control humanity for Satan’s evil purposes.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [the heavenly] places.” - Ephesians 6:12

Though the above listed offices of rank and authority in the heavenly government over creation (as listed in Col. 1:16 and Eph. 6:12 above), were created by and for Jesus, they were usurped by Lucifer and his cohorts.

• Lucifer first corrupted “the heavens” and was “cast out” from the 3^rd to the 2^nd heaven reigning over the universe.
• Then later in the person of “the Serpent” Lucifer turned the man whom God made to reign on earth, Adam, against God’s will … thus making himself “the god of this world [Gk. cosmos, the whole arrangement of both heaven and the earth, as we see by man today being under Satan’s rule].”

Yet even then, God’s Plan was always to bring the redeeming and reconciling incarnated Savior through Adam’s fallen lineage. It was planned that through Jesus of Nazareth, the incarnated “Son of God,” as the human “Son of Man” whose lineage traces to Adam, would answer mankind’s need. It was through Jesus Christ’s Cross-work, that God would fully execute His SECRETED Eternal Plan and Purpose to recover both “the heavens and the earth” from the hand of Satan.

“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery [God’s secret plan] , even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: ⁸  Which none of the princes [the devil’s religious and political leaders] of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” - 1 Corinthians 2:7-8

The verses tell us Satan and the fallen Satanic “Principalities and Powers [angels]” of the heavenly government influenced their corresponding earthly “princes” to kill Jesus, “THE PRINCE OF LIFE” (Acts 3:15);

• These earthly “princes” here were the religious leaders of Israel conspired with …
• the earthly “princes” of Rome, Rome’s political leaders at the time of Jesus on crucifixion.

Neither of these two classes of “princes” on earth knew God’s “Mystery,” His Secret plan for the Cross.

While Satan thought he had thwarted ‘the Plan of God’ by the execution of Jesus at the Cross, God was actually working His Plan by the Cross … for it was the God-planned Way of Victory in Christ that would fulfill every aspect of the ‘eternal plan’ of the Godhead.

Thus, Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 2:7-8 (above), Had They Known God’s SECRET Plan and Purpose of the Cross they would NOT have cooperated with God’s plan of “the mystery [secret]” of the Cross – to free and recover BOTH “the heavens and the earth” with man on it … through the redemptive work of Christ’s Cross.

So, I would expect that in retrospect… Satan would rather have one Jesus still alive on earth than the crucified and resurrected Christ Living In And Through Every Believer Forever.

Christ’s Cross is the key to the salvation and ultimate reign of Israel on earth, and the Gentile church, “the body of Christ” who will take up those seats ranks of authority in Christ’s Government of Heaven.

• We of “the body of Christ” will be Raptured to heaven (1Thes 4:15-18) at the end of today’s age “of the grace of God.” We are to co-reign over the universe with Christ in “the heavenly places” forever (cf. 2Tim. 2:12). This will precede His coming on earth to save Israel by more than 7 years.
• For, at Christ’s appearing in His 2^nd coming to earth Israel will assume its prophetic calling to co-reign with Christ in His Millennial Kingdom and on the new earth forever (Rev. 5:10, 20:6, Matt 19:28, Luke 19:17-19).

Having seen the foregoing “wisdom of God” in Planning and accomplishing the death of Jesus at the Cross through the evil mindset of Satan and his cohorts, we now can see how it is that God uses absolutely All Things, including the negative things. The history of man on earth may seem to have been out of the Lord’s control, but al these things were still in accordance with His eternal Plan and Purpose for the redemption for All Things.

Of course, we know from the written “word of truth” that there is no redemption for the Evil One, Lucifer, “that old Serpent, that great dragon, called the Devil, and Satan.” His departure is soon due!

“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” - Revelation 12:9 (KJV)

“And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” - Revelation 20:10 (KJV)

Oh, the wisdom of our God, to establish a Plan of salvation whereby the rebellious ones as Israel and we who now are members of “the body of Christ” could freely choose life “In Christ” … and with Christ be included in His reigning over “the heavens and the earth.”

“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!” - Romans 11:33 (KJV)

Surely, no Hollywood movie writer could have conceived of such a plan as this, whereby … God’s righteousness and justice would not be compromised while He freely offers salvation and eternal blessing to all the rebels who will believe and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior.
