Two Peoples, having Two Programs, for Two Eternal Outcomes, according to One Eternal Purpose.

In eternity future, Father God wants to glorify His Son, Jesus Christ, in both “the Heaven and in the Earth.” Per the “eternal purpose which [God] purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord” (cf. Eph. 3:10-11), ultimately all governments, both in “the Heaven” and on “the Earth” will be brought under the headship of the Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 1:10). Christ will reign in the heaven through the members of “the body of Christ,” and reign on the earth through a redeemed Nation Israel.

What Satan and his fallen angelic host have polluted with sin, in both “the heavens and in the earth,” God will purge and cleanse in the ages to come (Job 15:15; Job 25:5; Eph. 6:12; 2:2; Mat. 4:8-11; 2 Cor. 4:4).

“¹⁶For by him (Jesus Christ) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: ¹⁷And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

¹⁸And he (Christ) is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. ¹⁹For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; ²⁰And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.” (Colossians 1:16-20)

These “thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers” are positions of rank and authority in God’s heavenly government which are currently occupied by the fallen Satanic host of fallen angels. When Satan and his host are cast to the earth during the Tribulation, those positions of rank and authority in God’s heavenly government will be filled by the Raptured members of “the body of Christ.”

Soon after this, Jesus Christ will have restored His preeminence “in Heaven” through “the Church the Body of Christ”; the church will replace the fallen angelic host. And, He will have preeminence in the Earth through redeemed Israel at His 2^nd coming.

In closing, we should look at these two passages that describe ‘the end of all ages.’

Ephesians 1:8-10: “Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; ⁹ Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: ¹⁰ That in the Dispensation (the relational age) of the Fulness of Times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are In Heaven, and which are On Earth; even in him (that is … in accord with Christ) ...”

Ephesians 3:8-12: “Unto me (Paul), who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; ⁹And to make all men see what is ‘The Fellowship Of The Mystery,’ which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

¹⁰To The Intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places (the Satanic host currently governing ‘the heavens’) might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, ¹¹According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: ....”

To “rightly divide the word of truth” is to divide that which God has divided “according to His eternal purpose that He purposed in Christ Jesus” – unto recovering both “the heavens and the earth” from the Devil’s hand.
