Sacraments? No!
If you have ever been a part of a ‘religion’ you probably have received a few sacraments. I was baptized as an infant in the Roman Catholic church, which to them is supposedly important, but in reality, it is totally meaningless.

“We have… the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Eph. 1:7).
The climax of Paul’s first recorded sermon is reached in Verses 38 and 39 of Acts 13, where he declares:
“Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this Man (Jesus) is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
Some say; “Paul says nobody is saved by their “works” and your “faith” is a work of yours.” They may sight this verse; “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. (Romans 4:5). They may also say we’re bragging… they assume we’re saying it’s our own faith that saves. That faith, they claim, is something we did.
Part 5 - The Facts of Our New Identity “In Christ”:
During today’s age of “the grace of God” salvation comes to those who do not work for it. Rather those who believe, looking to the Cross of Christ as their source of the liberty from Sin’s power and as the root source of the of resurrection life… flows to those who receive His life by grace through faith alone.
The Suffering of Not Knowing & Believing the Truth
God wants Christ’s life and nature to reign in us willingly and by faith, He loves you so much that He says, “You are already seated on the throne in me. You can rest first. Sit down until I put the conquered enemies—that financial situation, that symptom in your body—that situation and circumstances in your life… under your feet.”
“if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Cor. 5:17)
Understanding what it means to be a “new creature in Christ” is absolutely essential for enjoying the abundant life of freedom and peace that Jesus Christ has provided for every believer.
Solomon wrote here of what occurs with the physical death of a human?
Eccl. 12:7 “Then… the dust (body) return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.”
The fact is clearly obvious to all of us that human life is temporary. It is to be explained in this way.
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Ephesians 6:10 (KJV)
To understand the believer’s relationship with Christ we need to see who we were and who we really are now. Every human is born to be God’s living, freely willing, container. We are perfectly made and designed to receive and express something of great value... Christ’s very life. This then is our purpose.
