Saved from Eternal Death … by Christ’s Life

The Bible speaks about things for which many people are searching. For example, the Bible answers our questions the creation of the world; the cause of evil in the world; the great cause of death, man’s purpose of existence, and the hope of eternal life.
I recently read the following words in an online article describing how the old in Puerto Rico are in dire straits since hurricane Maria hit.
“Listless and lonely in Puerto Rico, some older storm survivors consider suicide. Don Gregorio says he feels hopeless and has had suicidal thoughts. He's been isolated since Hurricane Maria struck Puerto Rico last September (2017).”
Some are asked, “Are you saved?” To which they may reply “Well, I believe in God, and I believe in Jesus.”
I have often been disappointed in myself in that I have sinned after knowing not to, even while knowing so much Bible. The question then becomes, “How could I do such a thing?” and “How can I not sin?” The fact is that after our salvation we soon recognize that we have a stubborn ‘heart’ problem that needs resetting. Thankfully, God’s grace and His ongoing work upon our soul, over time … ‘repurposes our heart.’
Believers need to know, understand and appreciate that the salvation they enjoy has to do with these Biblical terms that develop in this order.
God created man in His own “image,” as a vessel well suited to receive and be in union with God.
But, Adam & Eve were tempted of the lie of the Devil to “Sin” in disobedience…
A Five-Part Study Series

Fear is common to all men, including we Christians.
Fear is a natural reaction that works to keep us from harm, to be safe…
but we as believers are often tempted with the “fiery darts” of thoughts
that are intended to provoke “fear,” to immobilize us.
“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: (1 Corinthians 1:30)
Both redemption and sanctification (Holiness) flow to us from the cross in the person of the indwelling “Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.”
But distinctively, Grace and faith are the great characteristic features of the present age of “the dispensation of the grace of God.”
Nothing in the Bible is stated more clearly or with greater emphasis than the Apostles Paul’s revelation of justification, or right standing with God, as coming to us only by means of God’s grace, through faith, as a Gift, without works.
