The Epistle of God’s Great Grace

There is no epistle in which we find more about the grace of God than that great and wonderful epistle of Paul to the Ephesians! It is one of his prison epistles and, interestingly enough, he was actually and literally in jail for telling a secretthe secret of the mystery (Eph. 6:19-20). Evidently, he had a great deal of opposition in trying to make this secret known. That's rather unusual, isn't it?

Two Plans of Salvation

Some preachers say: “There are many things in the Bible which are hard to understand but, thank God, the plan of salvation is as simple as can be.”  I would say yes! The plan of salvation is simple… but only IF we obey Paul’s admonition of 2Timothy 2:15 to “rightly divide the Word of truth.” Otherwise, as you will see, the Bible is a book of seeming contradiction and confusion.

Dealing With Worry

The Bible tells us Satan, that "old Serpent," was defeated at Calvary and his headship over the world of humanity was powerfully dealt with. Hebrews 2:14 says that our Savior, by His death, "destroyed" him who "holds the power of death." We know from the word of God that the Devil himself is not actually "destroyed," because he will only later, at the end of the ages, will be "cast into the lake of fire" (Rev 20:10).

How can we explain this apparent contradiction? Is the Devil destroyed or not?
