The Ailment of The Galatians – “Another Gospel”

Gal.1:6] I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto ANOTHER GOSPEL:
[7] Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would Pervert The Gospel Of Christ.
[8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach Any Other Gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed [banned].
[9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach Any Other Gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed [banned].

The Galatian Saints were “in Christ,” and justified unto eternal life, but in the sight of God and Paul, they actually had become “foolish,” and were being “bewitched” by those who desired to glory in their flesh [external religious works]. These deceitful men were exhorting the Saints to live their sanctified lives by the deeds of the Law, this ‘other gospel,’ was well received by the Galatians because Israel in “times past” had operated upon the deeds of the Law to sanctify themselves.

But many assume that Galatians 1:6 (above) refers to the gospel of justification unto eternal life, but these saints in Christ could never be “so soon removed from him that called” them into the gospel. The gospel being spoken of here was a gospel of sanctification unto holiness doctrine that Paul taught the Galatians. They had given heed unto others who preached things that were written in the [religious] Law for Israel’s obedience under the Law, but not for the Gentiles obedience under “the dispensation of the Grace of God.”

Gal.4:9] But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
[10] Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
[11] I [Paul] am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

[12] Brethren, I beseech you, be as I [Paul] am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.

The Galatians ‘desired’ to be under the obedience of the deeds of the Law, but Paul called their “foolish” works as being in “bondage.” The Galatians thought that the deeds of the Law would be holy, and acceptable unto God because it was written in God’s Word, but it wasn’t written unto the Gentile Church for their “obedience to the faith.” Paul had just taught these saved Galatians in the foundational doctrines of sanctification unto holiness, and they became “soon removed” from how they were to bring forth fruit unto holiness and live their lives in true godliness unto the Father. But they did not trust Paul’s witness as an Apostle, they rather believed that they had a ‘better way’ to glorify God and bring forth fruit unto holiness. And by doing this, they did “not obey the truth,” but the subjected themselves unto another gospel, and unto men who they trusted more than the Apostle Paul.

Gal.3:1] O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched [put a spell upon] you, that ye should not obey the truth [of grace], before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
[2] This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
[3] Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

Moreover, they had become justified unto eternal life by hearing the word of God (the Spirit), this is how they “begun” their sanctification life, and that was by the word of the Lord to the Gentile Church. But when the members of the Jewish Church came in unto them, they hearkened unto their teaching about sanctification, but they themselves did not ‘keep the deeds of the Law.” They desired to place these saints under the works of the Law that they knew they could not be “obedient” unto all that is contained in the Law. The Galatian Saints did not “obey the truth” of what Paul as the Apostle of the Gentiles delivered unto them. This was truly foolish, and hurtful to their sanctification, and unto their growth as “sons and daughters” unto the Father.

Gal.4:4] But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
[5] To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
[6] And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
[7] Wherefore thou art no more a servant [of the Law], but a [regenerated son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Furthermore, the Father could not educate these Galatian Saints while they were being educated by “another gospel,” they were not “crying Abba, Father,” they were being “bewitched” by men who desired sons of their own to follow their own form of godliness in their sight, their works were in vain, and not acceptable unto God. And this is because this is not what God asked of the Gentile Church as members of His Body, they were to follow the Apostle that He sent unto them. We too are taught that our “obedience to the faith” is taught by God the Father unto us by the hand of the Apostle Paul, and by the working of the Holy Ghost through him (Paul).

Rom.1:5] By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

Rom.6:16] Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
[17] But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have Obeyed From The Heart That Form Of [sanctifying] Doctrine Which Was Delivered You [From Paul].

Rom.16:25] Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my [Paul’s] gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, [26] But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations [ethnicities] for the obedience of faith:

Finally, just as the Father desired of the Galatians to not be “foolish,” and “bewitched,” or be under the obedience to “another gospel,” we too ought to “obey from the heart” the Father’s doctrine for our edifying. And we are to be His “servants,” not the servants of the men of this world who desire to bring us into their designed way of sanctification unto holiness, and simply put; we are not to do ANYTHING in the Church, or as obedience unto the Father, if it is not taught God’s Word truth to us today in this present dispensation of Gentile Grace. We, and the Galatian Saints have been given doctrine to live our sanctified life by, whereby we “cry Abba, Father,” and by doing this, our hearts ‘cry out’ to our Father that we desire to be “conformed to the Image of His Son.” And our godly edification begins with, and is sustained by a “Spiritual mind,” this is truly the only way we can please our Father. And a Spiritual mind is a ‘Word of God mind,’ a “carnal mind” is a mind that is after the rudiments of the world, and after the traditions of man, and by that; it becomes a “foolish” mind, and thereby, not profitable unto the Father, but very profitable unto the men who desire to have the saints to follow their ways, their form of godliness, and unto “another gospel: which is not another.”

Rom 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit [mind] the things of the Spirit

Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded [upon religious externalities] is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Rom 8:8 So then They That Are In The Flesh Cannot Please God
