The personhood of the Holy Spirit endeavours to lead us (Romans 8:14), makes intercession for us (Rom.8:26,27), comforts us (John 14:26), fills our heart with the love of God (Rom.5:5), convicts us (John 16:8), teaches us (John 16:13; 1Jn.2:27), tells us all about Jesus (Jn.15:26), will show us things to come (Jn.16:13), aids in prayer (Rom. 8:26), assures us of our salvation (Rom. 8:16), takes of the things of the Christ in us, and shows them to us. He is the Administrator of the life of the Christ in us (Jn.16:14), restrains the ever-present “spirit of antichrist in the world” until the Rapture (2Thess.2:7, 1 John 4:2-3), and gives commands (Acts 8:29), guides our path (Acts 16:7).
