Part 1 of 2: Exposing Today’s Perversion of “The Word of God” – the Bible!

The written ‘WORD of God’ for the English-Speaking People today has been corrupted in the form of the many ‘new age bibles,’ such as the NKJV, NIV, NASB, RSV, ESV, NLT and more. Jesus said;

“SATAN COMETH … and TAKETH AWAY ‘THE WORD’… sown in their hearts.” (Mark 4:15 (KJV)

Satan does this because he knows what Jesus said;

“It is the spirit that quickeneth [lives life]; the flesh profiteth nothing: THE WORDS THAT I (JESUS) SPEAK UNTO YOU, THEY ARE SPIRIT, AND THEY ARE LIFE. John 6:63 (KJV)

Perversions of God’s Precious Written Word are Nothing New. Consider the religious leaders of Israel.

Jeremiah 5:31 (KJV) The prophets [of Israel] prophesy falsely, and the priests [of Israel] bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

Jeremiah 23:36 (KJV) … ye [Israel] have PERVERTED THE WORDS OF THE LIVING GOD…

2 Cor 2:17 (KJV) For we (Paul, Barnabas, Silas, Timothy, etc.) are not as many, which CORRUPT the Word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

Most pastors and Christians today ignorantly consider the many ‘modern Bible translations’ they use as being helpful and harmless, but as you will see they are harmful through distorting “the faith.”

There has been a concerted effort to corrupt “the word of God.” Satan seeks a “universal new age Bible” to be the basis for unifying all religions into a one-world religion when “the false prophet” of Revelation 13:11-15 comes on the scene, aiding the Antichrist in his one-world governmental religion. The Anti-Christ, is to be one possessed by Satan himself. Thus his plan is that the knowledge of the total sufficiency of Jesus Christ and His cross-work must be minimized. These Satan inspired bibles are to diminish Paul’s pure “Gospel of the grace of God.” (Acts 20:24).

You might ask; how can you say that?

Answer: If you simply compare the modern new age translations carefully with the Authorized King James Bible (the KJV), verse for verse, you will see that there is a concerted effort to diminish the place and singularity of Jesus as “the Son of God,” and His blood that was shed “for the sins of the world.”

Just consider that the New King James Bible Version’ has ~100,000 changes from the KJV. It omits “hell” 22 times, “blood” 23 times, “repent” 44 times, “heaven” 50 times, “God” 51 times, “Lord” 66 times, and … “devils,” “damnation,” and “JEHOVAH,” are completely omitted. A coincidence? NO!

Most all modern translations (NIV, ESV, NASB, AMP, RSV, Living Bible, et al) have been similarly corrupted mainly because they are most all derived from the same corrupted Greek text that was assembled by these two men, Westcott & Hort in the 1880’s.

These men drew their “new” Greek text from the disputed Alexandrian text and the Catholic Latin Vulgate. A group of so-called “scholars” in Alexandria, Egypt thought they could do better than the KJV’s ‘Textus Receptus’ manuscripts. When they made their copies, they made “corrections” that they thought better presented what the Scriptures ‘should say.’ Some of their errors were gross blunders such as quoting Malachi 3:1 in Mark 1:2 and incorrectly referring to a portion of Mark 1:2 as a quote from Isaiah. But other ‘errors” are more subtle; slight word changes to take away the deity of Christ. They also thereby removed whole phrases and whole verses they didn’t like.

The fact is that the KJV is based upon the ‘Textus Receptus,’ the Greek text that has been used by Christians for nearly 2,000 years. Over 99% of the 5,200 existing Greek New Testament manuscripts are in agreement with the text of the English Authorized King James Version of 1611.

Yet, with Satan’s promotion of them the Bibles drawn from ‘Alexandrian text’ has recently become the most influential in the so-called modern, critical editions of the Greek New Testament, achieving widespread acceptance in the Greek text of Westcott & Hort (1881), culminating in the United Bible Society Nestle-Aland 27th edition of the New Testament. The Catholic RSV of 1965 and NSRV of 1981 are based on the “second hand” Latin Vulgate Text.

Consider this concerning Wescott and Hort;

“Brooke Foss Westcott (1825-1903) and Fenton John Anthony Hort (1828-1892) have been highly controversial figures in biblical history. On one side, their supporters have heralded them as great men of God, having greatly advanced the search for the original Greek text. On the other side, their opponents have leveled charges of heresy, infidelity, apostasy, and many others, claiming that they are guilty of WREAKING GREAT DAMAGE ON THE TRUE TEXT OF SCRIPTURE.”

Consider these Quotes from Westcott/Hort who are the source of the New Age Bibles (NIV, ESV, NASB, etc.):

Westcott - Concerning the Deity of Christ:

"He (Jesus) never speaks of Himself directly as God, but the aim of His revelation was to lead men to see God in Him." (Westcott, The Gospel According to St. John, p. 297).
"(John) does not expressly affirm the identification of the Word with Jesus Christ." (Westcott, Ibid., p. 16).

Concerning the Scriptures:

"I reject the infallibility of Holy Scriptures overwhelmingly." (Westcott, The Life and Letters of Brook Foss Westcott, Vol. I, p.207).
"Our Bible as well as our Faith is a mere compromise." (Westcott, On the Canon of the New Testament, p. vii).
"Evangelicals seem to me perverted…There are, I fear, still more serious differences between us on the subject of authority, especially the authority of the Bible." (Hort, The Life and Letters of Fenton John Anthony Hort, Vol. I, p.400)

Concerning Hell:

"(Hell is) not the place of punishment of the guilty, (it is) the common abode of departed spirits. (Westcott, Historic Faith, pp.77-78).

"We have no sure knowledge of future punishment, and the word eternal has a far higher meaning." (Hort, Life and Letters, Vol. I, p.149).

Concerning Creation:

"No one now, I suppose, holds that the first three chapters of Genesis, for example, give a literal history. I could never understand how anyone reading them with open eyes could think they did." (Westcott, cited from Which Bible? p. 191).

Hort - "But the book which has most engaged me is Darwin. Whatever may be thought of it, it is a book that one is proud to be contemporary with ... My feeling is strong that the theory is unanswerable." (Hort, cited from Which Bible? p. 189)

Concerning the Atonement:

"I think I mentioned to you before Campbell's book on the Atonement, which is invaluable as far as it goes; but unluckily he knows nothing except Protestant theology." (Hort, Life and Letters, Vol. I, p. 322)

"The popular doctrine of substitution is an immoral and material counterfeit...nothing can be more unscriptural than the limiting of Christ's bearing our sins and sufferings to His death; but indeed that is only one aspect of an almost universal heresy." (Hort to Westcott, Life and Letters, Vol. I, p. 430)

"I confess I have no repugnance to the primitive doctrine of a ransom paid to Satan. I can see no other possible form in which the doctrine of a ransom is at all tenable; anything is better than the doctrine of a ransom to the father." (Hort, The First Epistle of St. Peter 1:1-2:17, p. 77).

Concerning Man:

"It is of course true that we can only know God through human forms, but then I think the whole Bible echoes the language of Genesis 1:27 and so assures us that human forms are divine forms." (Hort to Westcott, August 14, 1860) "Protestants (must) unlearn the crazy horror of the idea of Priesthood."  (Hort, Life and Letters, Volume II, pp. 49-51)

Concerning Roman Catholicism:

"I wish I could see to what forgotten truth Mariolatry (the worship of the Virgin Mary) bears witness." (Westcott, Ibid.)

"I have been persuaded for many years that Mary-Worship and Jesus-Worship have very much in common." (Hort, Life and Letters, Volume II, pp. 49-51)

"The pure Romanish view seems to be nearer, and more likely to lead to the truth than the Evangelical." (Hort, Life and Letters, Vol. I, p. 77)

"I agree with you in thinking it a pity that Maurice verbally repudiates purgatory . . . the idea of purgation, cleansing by fire, seems to me inseparable from what the Bible teaches us of the Divine chastisements."  (Hort, Life and Letters, Vol. II, pp. 336,337)

Concerning the Cumulative Effect of Multiple Changes to the Manuscripts:

"It is quite impossible to judge the value of what appear to be trifling alterations merely by reading them one after another. Taken together, they have often important bearings which few would think of at first. . . The difference between a picture, say of Raffaelle, and a feeble copy of it is made up of a number of trivial differences. . . We have successfully resisted being warned off dangerous ground, where the needs of revision required that it should not be shirked. . . It is, one can hardly doubt, the beginning of a new period in Church history. So far the angry objectors have reason for their astonishment." (Hort, Life and Letters, Vol. I, pp. 138,139)

Westcott believed in and attempted to practice a form of Communism… Westcott & Hort believed it possible to communicate with the dead and made many attempts to do just that through a society which they organized, called “The Ghostly Guild.” Westcott accepted and promoted prayers for and to the dead. Necromancy, which is communion with the dead, is forbidden in Deuteronomy 18:10-11 There shall not be found among you any one that ... (is a) consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a NECROMANCER.

Hort was a proponent of Darwin and his theory of evolution. These two men are the main source of today’s modern Bibles – NIV, NASB, ESV, Living Bible, et al!

This below a list of Bible verses by which you can check to see IF YOUR BIBLE HAS BEEN CORRUPTED or NOT. Note the verses taken from the King James Authorized Version (KJV) compared with the New Age Bibles – the NIV, NASB, ESV, etc.

Who Is Mark Quoting Here In The 1^st Part Of Mark 1:2?

Mark 1:2 (KJV) “As it is WRITTEN IN THE PROPHETS, Behold, I send my messenger…”

Below are two typical of the corrupted new age Bible translations, having gross inaccuracies.

Mark 1:2 (NIV) It is written in ISAIAH the prophet: “I will send my messenger ahead of you…

Mark 1:2 (NASB) As it is written in ISAIAH the prophet: “Behold, I send My messenger …

FLAT OUT ERROR! Mark 1:2 is actually quoting the prophet Malachi 3:1 – NOT ISAIAH at all.

Malachi 3:1 (KJV) Behold, I WILL SEND MY MESSENGER, and he shall prepare the way before me…

This above is only one of hundreds of major conflicts between the KJV and New Age translations. Such errors give place to critics saying you cannot trust the word of God.

AS YOU WILL SEE IT IS IMPORTANT TO HAVE ALL THE VERSES WITH ALL THEIR WORDS and WORDING.

Who killed Goliath? We know David killed Goliath, per Isaiah 21:9 KJV below.

Let’s now Compare Bible Versions.

2 Samuel 21:19 (KJV) And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim, a Bethlehemite, slew THE BROTHER of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam.

But the New Age Bible Versions say something different!

2 Samuel 21:19 (NIV, NASB, etc) In another battle with the Philistines at Gob, Elhanan son of Jaare-Oregim the Bethlehemite KILLED GOLIATH the Gittite, who had a spear with a shaft like a weaver’s rod.

Check for yourself - is Satan’s name, “Lucifer” (Isa. 14:12 KJV), is in your Bible? It’s Not found in NIV, NASB, ESV, AMP, RSV, etc. (It does appear in the NKJV though the NKJV is largely corrupted elsewhere.)

Now, check and see, are these complete KJV Verses in Your Bibles?

Matthew 17:21 (KJV) Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

Mark 9:44, 46, 48 (KJV) Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched

Acts 8:37 (KJV) And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD.

1 John 5:7 (KJV) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (This is an attack on the Triune Godhead!)

Sorry, they are NOT found in the NIV, NLT, ESV, NET Bibles.

Who is Jesus of Nazareth’s real father? We know Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit of God (Matt. 1:20).

Luke 2:33 (KJV) And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him [Jesus].

Note above that Joseph is mentioned but NOT referred to as Jesus’ father in the KJV… BUT then note below in the new age bibles that Joseph is referred to as “the child’s father” in your corrupted Bibles seen below.

Luke 2:33 (NIV, NASB, etc) The child’s FATHER and mother marveled at what was said about him.

This is an attack on the truth that Jesus is “the Son of God,” who was ‘conceived of the Holy Spirit,’ NOT of Joseph, His adoptive father.

The KJV truth that “God…Created All Things By Jesus Christ” is Misstated in the NIV, NASB, etc.

Ephesians 3:9 (KJV) And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, Who Created All Things By Jesus Christ:

Ephesians 3:9 (NIV) and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. [What about Jesus Christ?]

KJV says Jesus is “the Alpha and Omega, first & Last”?  This is Missing in the NIV, NASB, etc. (Compare)

Revelation 1:11 (KJV) …‘I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last:’ and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

Revelation 1:11 (NIV, NASB, etc) which said: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.”

Yet another attack on “the Son of God” as being the eternal God!

DOES GOD’S “WORD” MATTER?

God’s “Name” is “above ALL blessing and praise.” (Compare)

Nehemiah 9:5b (KJV) … Stand up and bless the LORD your God for ever and ever: and blessed be thy glorious NAME, WHICH “IS” EXALTED ABOVE ALL blessing and praise.

Nehemiah 9:5 (NIV) …Stand up and praise the Lord your God, who is from everlasting to everlasting.” “Blessed be your glorious name, and “MAY IT BE” exalted above all blessing and praise.

Yet, God has placed His WORD Above His NAME! (Compare).

Psalm 138:1-2 (KJV) I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee. ² I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified THY WORD ABOVE ALL THY NAME.

Psalms 138:1-2 (NIV, NASB., etc) I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; before the “gods” I will sing your praise. ² I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your Name AND your Word.

THE “WORD of GOD” is in fact PERFECT

Psalm 19:7-10 (KJV) The law (written instruction in the Torah, the Pentateuch) of the LORD is Perfect (without blemish), converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. ⁸ The statutes (commandments) of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. ⁹ The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. ¹⁰ More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

1 Thess 2:13 (KJV) For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us (Paul and his), ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, THE WORD OF GOD, which effectually WORKETH ALSO IN YOU THAT BELIEVE.

1Cor 14:37 (KJV) If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I (Paul) write unto YOU ARE THE COMMANDMENTS (instruction) OF THE LORD.

Part 2 of 2: Detail Exposing the Corrupted “New King James Version” (NKJV)

The Preface to the New King James Version (NKJV) claims,

“A special feature of the New King James Version is ITS CONFORMITY to the thought flow of the 1611 Bible...the new edition, while much clearer ARE SO CLOSE to the traditional. . .”

So this admits that there is no claim to stick with “the actual words” that are seen in the key manuscripts of the Bible.

Among the first changes that greets the reader of the NKJV is the removal of the much maligned “thee, thou” and “ye”. The Preface to the NKJV states, “. . .thee, thou, and ye are replaced by the simple you,… These pronouns are no longer part of our language.” But thee, thou, and ye are meaningful.

Consider why “thee, thou, and ye” there? What do they mean?

The Greek and Hebrew language contain a different word for the second person singular and the second person plural pronouns. But today we as Americans erroneously use the one-word “you” for both the singular and plural which can lead to confusion. But because the translators of the 1611 King James Bible desired an accurate, word-for-word translation of the Hebrew and Greek text - they could NOT use the one-word “you” throughout!

So, if the word begins with a “t” (i.e., thou, thy, thine) it’s SINGULAR, but if it begins with “y” (ye) it’s PLURAL. So, these words are more precise, they mean something.

Advertisements for the NKJV call it “the Accurate One,” and yet the eliminate King James use of “thee”, “thou”, “ye”, which are far More Accurate than the NKJV!

By the way, if the “thees” and “thous” are “. . . no longer part of our language” - why aren’t the NKJV translators also rushing to make our hymnbooks “much clearer”?  This is what you would have;

“How Great Thou Art” would be “How Great You Are”, “Come Thou Fount” would be “Come You Fount”

Doesn’t sound right, does it? Isn’t it amazing that they wouldn’t dare “correct” our hymns - and yet, without the slightest hesitation, they think they can “correct” the Word of God!

The NKJV claims to make the “old” KJV “much clearer” by “updating obsolete words” (New King James Version, 1982e. p. 1235). So, let’s see if it is much clearer.

How about that so-called “obsolete word” - “hell.” The NKJV removes the word “hell” 23 times!

And how do they make it “much clearer”? By replacing “hell” with “Hades” and “Sheol”! Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary defines Hades: “the underground abode of the dead in Greek MYTHOLOGY.” So, by making it “much clearer” - they actually turn your Bible into MYTHOLOGY! Not only that, Hades is not always a place of torment or terror! The Assyrian Hades is an abode of blessedness with silver skies called “Happy Fields.” In the satanic New Age Movement, Hades is an intermediate state of purification, like the Catholic purgatory! 

Who in their right mind would think “Hades” (Greek) or “Sheol” (Hebrew) is “up-to-date” and “much clearer” than “hell?” Compare these below.

Matthew 16:1b8 KJV: “… I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
NKJV: “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”

Luke 16:23 KJV: “And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.”
NKJV: “And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.”

Hell is removed in 2 Sam. 22:6, Job 11:8, 26:6, Psalm 16:10, 18:5, 86:13, 116:3, Isaiah 5:14, 14:15, 28:15,18, 57:9, Jonah 2:2, Matt. 11:23, 16:18, Luke 10:15, 16:23, Acts 2:27, 31, Rev. 1:18, 6:8, 20:13-14.

Then the NKJV decides that maybe “Hades” should be “grave”! So the NKJV makes 1 Corinthians 15:55 “much clearer” by changing “grave” to “Hades”! Now its “O Hades, where is your victory?” Clear?

Another one of those “obsolete words” is “repent.” They take it out 44 times! And how does the NKJV make it “much clearer”? In Matthew 21:32 they use “relent”. Matthew 27:3 it is “remorseful,” Or Romans 11:29 they change “repentance” to “irrevocable.”

The term “new testament” is NOT in the NKJV! (See Matt. 26:28, Mark 14:24, Luke 22:20, 1 Cor. 11:25, 2 Cor. 3:6, Heb. 9:15,) The NKJV replaces “new testament” with “new covenant” (ditto NIV, NRSV, RSV, NASV). An obvious assault at the written Word of God!

The words “damned” and “damnation” do NOT appear in the NKJV! They claim to make it “much clearer” by replacing it with “condemn” (ibid NIV, RSV, NRSV, NASV). “Condemned” is NO WHERE NEAR AS SERIOUS as “damned”! Damned is eternal! One can be “condemned” and not be “damned.”

Webster defines “condemned”: to declare to be wrong, but the much more serious and eternal “damn”: “to condemn to hell”.

The word “devils” is NOT in the NKJV! Replaced with the “transliterated” Greek word “demon” (ibid NIV, RSV, NRSV, NASV). The Theosophical Dictionary describes demon as: “. . . it has a meaning identical with that of ‘god’, ‘angel’ or ‘genius.’” Even Vines Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words (p.157) defines “demon” as: “an inferior deity, WHETHER GOOD OR BAD.” Webster defines “demon” as: “divinity, spirit, an attendant power or spirit”, but “devil” as: “the personal supreme spirit of EVIL. . .”

In 2 Timothy 2:15, the NKJV (like the NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV) remove the word - “study”! ¹⁵ Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) The only time you’re told to “study” your Bible and THEY ZAP IT!

Why don’t they want you to “study” your Bible? Maybe they don’t want you to look too close - you might find out what they’ve ACTUALLY done to your Bible! The KJV is the only English Bible in the world that instructs you to “study” your Bible!

That word “virtue” is replaced with “power” in Mark 5:30, Luke 6:19, 8:46 in the new age Bible! How does anybody confuse “virtue” with “power”?

The New Age Movement and the occult long for one called the Maitreya. The Bible calls him the Anti-Christ. New Ager’s refer to him as the “the Coming One” - AND SO DOES THE NKJV! In Luke 7:19-20 (see also Matt 11:3) John told his disciples to ask Jesus: “Are You THE COMING ONE. . .” In the “The Great Invocation,” a “prayer” highly reverenced among New Agers and chanted to “invoke” the Maitreya, says, “Let Light and Love and Power and Death, Fulfil the purpose of the Coming One.”

And to REALLY show their sympathy with the satanic New Age Movement - BELIEVE IT OR NOT - in Acts 17:29 the New Age NKJV changes “Godhead” to “Divine Nature”! (ibid, NIV, NASV)

And if you think the NKJV just “innocently” updated the “obsolete words,” removing the “thee’s and thou’s” - here’s what the translators proudly admit saying:

“IT IS CLEAR that this revision REQUIRED more than the dropping of “-eth” endings, removing, “thee’s” and “thou’s,” and updating obsolete words.” (cf. The New King James Version, 1982e. p. 1235).

Here’s a sampling of the erroneous new age changes:
Genesis 2:18: The NKJV ought to make Hillary Clinton proud: “And the Lord God said, It is not good that man should be alone; I will make a helper COMPARABLE TO HIM”

Genesis 22:8: One of the greatest verses in the Bible proclaiming that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh: The KJV says “God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering:” God Himself will die.

But the NKJV adds that little word “for”: “God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering” This destroys the wonderful promise that God Himself will b “the Lamb.”

Where’d they get their little “for”? It’s from the corrupted NASV!

Genesis 24:47: The “old” KJV reads: “I put the earring upon her face.”

But the NKJV has different plans for beautiful Rebekah: “I put the nose ring on her nose”. Where did it get the ridiculous idea. Just take a peek at the NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV!

Ezra 8:36: The KJV reads, “And they delivered the king’s commissions unto the king’s lieutenants”

The “much clearer” NKJV reads, “And they delivered the king’s orders to the king’s satraps. . .” Who in the world thinks “satraps” is “much clearer” than lieutenants? The NIV, NASV, NRSV, RSV - they do! They put in the same “much clearer” word!

Psalms 109:6: removes “Satan.” (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV).

Matthew 7:14: change “narrow is the way” to “difficult is the way.”

There’s nothing “difficult” about the salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ! Jesus says in Matt. 11:30, “For my yoke is EASY, and my burden is light.” THE EXACT OPPOSITE! Boy, you talk about a contradiction!

Matthew 12:40: change “whale” to “fish.” I don’t guess it matters that the Greek word used in Matthew 12:40 is ketos.

The scientific study of whales just happens to be - CETOLOGY - from the Greek ketos for whale and logos for study! The scientific name for whales just happens to be - CETACEANS - from the Greek ketos for whale!

Matthew 18:26 & Matthew 20:20: The NKJV removes “worshipped him” (robbing worship from Jesus) (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

Mark 13:6 & Luke 21:8: removes “Christ” (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

John 1:3: change “All things were made BY him;” to “All things were made THROUGH Him” (NIV, NRSV, RSV)

John 4:24: changes the KJV “God is a spirit” to the impersonal, New Age pantheistic, “God is spirit” (NIV, NASV, NRSV)

John 14:2: (NKJV 1979 edition) change “mansions” to “dwelling places” (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

John 14:16: change “comforter” to “helper” (refers to Holy Spirit) (NASV)

Acts 4:27, 30: change “holy child” to “holy servant” (refers to Jesus) (NIV, NASV, NRSV, RSV)

Unless you’re not saved! 1 Cor. 1:18 says: “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish FOOLISHNESS. . .” I wonder where that leaves the translators of the NKJV, NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV?

1 Cor. 1:22: change “require” to “request” (NASV) Do these mean the same? NO!!

1 Cor. 6:9: removes “effeminate” (NIV, NRSV, RSV)

1 Cor. 9:27: change “castaway” to “disqualified” (NIV, NASV, NRSV, RSV)

2 Cor. 2:10: change “person of Christ” to “presence of Christ” (NASV, NRSV, RSV)

2 Cor. 2:17: With all the “corruptions” in the NKJV, you’d expect 2 Cor. 2:17 to change. IT DOES! They change, “For we not as many which CORRUPT the word of God” to “For we are not, as so many, PEDDLING the word of God” (ditto NIV, NASV, NRSV, RSV)

2 Cor. 5:17: change “new creature” to “new creation” (NIV, NRSV, RSV)

2 Cor. 10:5: change “imaginations” to “arguments”. Considering New Age “imaging” and “visualization” is now entering the church, this verse in the “old” KJV just won’t do. (NIV, RSV)

2 Cor. 11:6: change “rude in speech” to “untrained in speech” (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

Gal. 2:20: omit “nevertheless I live” (NIV, NASV, NRSV, RSV)

Phil. 2:6: (NKJV 1979e.) change “thought it not robbery to be equal with God” to “did not consider equality with God something to be grasped”. (robs Jesus Christ of deity) (NIV, NASV, RSV)

Phil. 3:8: change “dung” to “rubbish” (NIV, NASV, NRSV)

1 Thess. 5:22 change “all appearance of evil” to “every form of evil” (NASV, RSV, NSRV)

1 Timothy 6:5: The NKJV changes “gain is godliness” to “godliness is a MEANS OF gain”. There are NO Greek texts with “means of” in them! Where, oh where, did they come from? Care to take a wild guess? YOU GOT IT! The NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV!

1 Timothy 6:10: The NKJV changes “For the love of money is the root of all evil:” to “For the love of money is a root of all KINDS OF evil”. The words “KINDS OF” are found in NO Greek text in the world! Where did they get them? Straight from the NIV, NASV, NRSV!

1 Tim. 6:20: change “science” to “knowledge” (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

Titus 3:10: change “heretic” to “divisive man” (NIV)

Hebrews 4:8 & Acts 7:45: “Jesus” is changed to “Joshua”. (NIV, NASV, RSV)

2 Pet. 2:1: change “damnable heresies” to “destructive heresies” (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

1 John 3:16: remove “love of God”; (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

1 John 5:13: The NKJV reads: “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may CONTINUE TO believe in the name of the Son of God.” They add “CONTINUE TO” without any Greek text whatsoever! Not even the perverted NIV, NASV, NRSV and RSV go that far! A cruel, subtle (see Genesis 3:1) attack on the believer’s eternal security!

Rev. 2:13: change “Satan’s seat” to “Satan’s throne” (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

Rev. 6:14: “Heaven” is changed to “sky” in (NIV, NASV, RSV, NRSV)

THIS DOESN’T SCRATCH THE SURFACE OF ALL THE CHANGES!
