Lucifer is a created being, he was not birthed of God as believers are. Lucifer does not possess the kind of life that could ever truly emulate God. Lacking this knowledge and life that believers possess, the "angels desire look" into that which concerns the believers. 1Pet 1:12 (AMP) ... [these] things which have now already been made known plainly to you ...Into These Things [The Very] Angels Long To Look!

Lucifer was originally created as an "angel of light" to express the outflow of God's light and love-for-others, but Lucifer chose to burn as a self-for-self. Yet, he was cast out of heaven as seen in Ezekiel 28 and Isaiah 14. There we see the account that represents the actual beginning of Sin in the universe—preceding the fall of the human Adam by an indeterminate time. Sin originated in the free will of Lucifer in which—with full understanding of the issues involved—he chose to rebel against the Creator and tried to incite rebellion among the angelic host. He took one-third of them with him.

This mighty angelic being was rightfully judged by God: “I threw you to the earth” (Ezekiel 28:18). This doesn’t mean that Satan had no further access to heaven, for other Scripture verses clearly indicate that Satan maintained this access even after his fall (Job 1:6-12; Zechariah 3:1,2). However, Ezekiel 28:18 indicates that Satan was absolutely and completely cast out of God’s heavenly government and his place of authority. "He said... I saw Satan falling like a lightning [flash] from heaven. Luke 10:18 (AMP)

Even after his fall, Lucifer's usefulness to God continued. With God nothing is wasted and "all things are working for the good" (Rom 8:28)." Lucifer became used of God as God's negative agent in the world. He is used today to confront humankind with opportunity for choice... for becoming morally conscious persons. Man's original choice in the garden was due to Lucifer, as the Serpent, lying to man and enticing man to choose and eat of the one forbidden tree, of all the trees in the garden.

Then Scripture reveals that Lucifer was unknowingly used by God to release "the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus" to the world by crucifying the Lord Jesus Christ. It is by the death of the cross and His resurrection that Jesus "became the life-giving spirit" (1Cor 15:45). Thereby Christ's own "Spirit of life" became available to "as many as receive Him" (Jn 1:12).

Paul reveals to us "the mystery" of "the gospel of the grace of God," which is "Christ in you" (Col 1:27). This Paul calls "the revelation of The Mystery... which had been Kept Secret Since The World Began." (Rom 16:25). Here is why "the mystery" of Christ’s indwelling 'Kept Secret.”

1 Cor. 2:7-8 we speak the wisdom of God in a MYSTERY, even the hidden wisdom, which GOD ORDAINED BEFORE THE WORLD UNTO OUR GLORY: 8Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, THEY WOULD NOT HAVE CRUCIFIED THE LORD…  

So now, in retrospect, Satan no doubt would rather have one Jesus still alive on earth than the ... crucified risen Lord dwelling IN every believer!

It was in this way that God, as Father, would gain spirit-birthed children, born of His own spirit-loins. In this way men may become spiritually "born of God" with Christ's life and nature in their spirit, enabling them to express God's life and nature in man's daily living. Galatians 5:25 (NIV) Since we live (have life in) by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit...

Satan continues to work as God's tool even now. Sin, even now in our flesh, remains resident in order to propel us to choose to trust Christ daily as our new and overcoming life. We learn to trust in and live by Christ's "Spirit of life." Each time we choose to yield to Christ in us we make the cross seen to be effective, making the Devil and open shame. Satan presents every Christian with choices daily, either to walk according to the Sin infected
