Revelation of the Christ-Seed In Us
Seeing that God, in Christ, as “the Spirit of life,” really lives within believers should bring us an explosion of related revelations, joy, appreciation, and thankfulness to God our Father.
“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this MYSTERY [Grk, musterion, Secret Plan of God] among the Gentiles; which is Christ In You, the hope of glory:” (Colossians 1:27)
The Apostle Paul himself had just such a “revelation” of the mystery (secret) Christ in him, of which he wrote;
“when God… was pleased 16to REVEAL His Son IN ME…” (Gal. 1:15-16a, Rom. 16:25).
It is for certain the revelation “Christ In You” will change your Christian life forever. It is then that one knows that they are first and foremost a literal born child of God the Father (cf. Rom. 8:16).
Paul wrote of this new living relationship wherein we as believers are “No More A Servant [of religious demands] but a SON” (Gal. 4:7). Having received this “revelation,” we don’t ‘work for the Lord as His servants’ in order to gain or to earn His favor... we’ve already “been blessed with all spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus” (Eph. 1:3). Now our good works proceed out of a heart that is pure in the motive of thankfulness, out of a newly found love and appreciation for the Lord’s unconditional never-ending love and grace toward us.
The Christian’s life reflects that we all are as females unto the Lord, we carry God’s “seed which is Christ.” In this way of new life by God the Father’s “Seed [Grk, sperma], which is Christ” now in us, we can see that we (male and female) are essentially pregnant with Christ being “formed” in our soul’s ‘mind, emotion and will.’
Jesus, our life-giving Savior was born to be The Eternal Christ Seed who came humanly via the lineage of Abraham so as to have a physical body that might be sacrificed for our sins. But we know He also was resurrected to become the “life-giving Spirit” (1Cor 15:45). When Jesus rose from the dead His resurrected eternal “spirit of life” became available to be Deposited Into the Spirit of any person who would Believe. We thereby receive God’s life-giving “Seed” into the womb of our human “spirit of man” (cf. 1Cor 6:17).
“and in you [Abraham] All The Families of the earth will be blessed.” (Genesis 12:3) “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of ONE, And to Thy Seed, Which Is Christ.” (Galatians 3:16 (KJV)
Peter writes to Israel referring to Jesus Christ as “the Word” and as being the “incorruptible Seed,” just a John also referred to Jesus as “the word” (John 1:1). Jesus was conceived of the Holy Ghost bearing the Godhead life.
“Being born again, NOT of corruptible ‘seed’ [human ‘sperm’ that will die], but of incorruptible [the eternal Seed of life], by ‘the word’ [the Christ] of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” (1 Peter 1:23)
We know human father’s initiate life physically, while mothers bear that life unto birth. One day, at our Rapture to heaven, we will have come to the full expression of the glorious ‘Seeded Life of Christ Within Us.’ Paul wrote of his frustration with the Galatians who had left Paul’s message of God’s grace, life and faith to go back under “the Law.” Lacking faith in Christ, they could not become matured in the life of the Christ Seed.
“… I (Paul) travail in birth again until Christ Be Formed In You,” (Gal. 4:19).
We as regenerated believers who have Christ in us (Rom. 8:9-10) have Jesus’ resurrection life within us, spiritually conceived of God the Father... via His “Seed, which is Christ” (Gal. 3:16, cf. 1Peter 1:23). Just as a conceived child grows without self-effort in the confines of its mother’s womb, we grow, without effort, simply by our spirit-union with His “Spirit of life” WITHIN US. Just as a fetus without effort shares the riches (nutrients) of the mother’s blood we also share in the riches of His life within us (cf. Eph. 1:15-18). Just as the mother’s blood takes away all the waste from the baby’s blood, we enjoy that Christ has taken away ‘the waste of our sins’ by His shed blood of the cross with His forgiveness of all our sins.
Though our “old” sin-nature, as “the sons of Adam” (cf. Rom. 6:6-7) once reigned in us by our fallen sin-laden flesh, we now grow in the knowledge and grace of the Lord… being renewed in our souls, as He is ‘being formed in our mind, emotion, and will.’
“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward [body] man perish, yet the inward [soul] man is renewed day by day.” (2 Corinthians 4:16)
