Saved and Seated In Heaven

God sees every believer as being "in Christ" and as already in heaven.

Let's now see what the Bible says about this.

Paul wrote this to the Colossian believers who had already received Christ's salvation and the deposit of His eternal life into them.

26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery (secret plan of God) among the Gentiles; which is CHRIST IN YOU, the hope (confident expectation) of glory: (Colossians 1:26-27)

Then also Paul wrote this to the Ephesian believers who had already received Christ's salvation and the deposit of His eternal life into them.

“But God, Who Is Rich In Mercy, For His Great Love Wherewith He Loved Us,

“Even When We Were Dead In Sins, Hath Quickened Us (made us alive) Together With Christ (By Grace Ye Are Saved),

“And Hath Raised Us Up Together And Made Us Sit Together In Heavenly Places In Christ Jesus: (Eph. 2:4-6).

Most sincere believers, poorly taught in the Word, are concerned about getting to heaven, but as far as God is concerned they are already there. They have been already “made accepted in the Beloved (Christ)” (Eph. 1:6). God has given them a position “in Christ.”

Most of God’s people know little about this relationship with God through Christ experientially, but God says that as far as He is concerned, they are already in heaven, and this is what matters. As Christ took our place on Calvary’s cross... God now sees us in Christ, at His own right hand, the place of favor and honor.

This is why the Apostle Paul says to believers in Christ:

“If Ye Then Be Risen With Christ, Seek Those Things Which Are Above, Where Christ Sitteth On The Right Hand Of God.

“Set Your Affection On Things Above, Not On Things On The Earth.

“For Ye Are Dead, And Your Life Is Hid With Christ In God” (Col. 3:1-3).

And All This Ours By The Free Grace (gift) Of God:

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

“Who Hath Saved Us, And Called Us With An Holy Calling, Not According To Our Works, But According To His Own Purpose And Grace, Which Was Given Us In Christ Jesus Before The World Began” (1 Tim. 1:9).

My heart go out to those who have not yet received this “gift of the grace of God,” which is salvation in Christ and also the deposit of His eternal life into your spirit - making you also eternal in that very moment.

The remedy for our  separation from God is simply this... Believe (trust in cling to and rely upon) on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31).
