What Most Churches Won’t Teach You

There are likely more churches in your community than banks and men’s barber shops combined. So you would think that you could hear anything you wanted from such a doctrinal smorgasbord. Yet there are quite a few significant and meaningful Bible facts that most churches will not teach you concerning your life and how it could be if you understood your Bible.

For example; it is extremely rare to find a church that will teach that Jesus did not come to preach to the Gentiles while he walked the earth, and that it was not His focus or the focus of His Twelve Apostles of Israel.

24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Matthew 15:24 (KJV)

5 These twelve [Apostle] Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Matthew 10:5-6 (KJV)

You would faster find a decoder ring in your Cracker Jacks than you would find a church that will teach you that it would be ‘wrong to tithe’ today. Instead of explaining the liberty that you have in Christ, they would much rather shackle you with the threat of the Mosaic Law for Israel when it comes to your wallet.

7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.2Cor. 9:7

Neither will you find any pastor worth his salt teaching you to circumcise your male children on the eighth day of their birth as Israel did and does. Yet, all of them will obligate you to be water baptized before you are a member of their church.

11  In whom [in Christ] also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12  Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. Colossians 2:11-12 (KJV)

And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shalt wash them with water. Exo. 29:4

Weren’t circumcision and water baptism both Jewish customs?

While we’re at it, don’t you know that ‘you can’t go to church,’ because ‘you are the church’? The church is always people never brick and mortar. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16 (KJV)

Not in a hundred years will you hear the truth about Christmas, Easter, and Lupercalia (Valentine’s day).

And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

Yes, Easter, is the Pagan festival existed before Jesus of Nazareth was born and crucified.

You may have never heard that Peter tried to prevent Jesus’ crucifixion, which would have kept you from salvation by grace through faith in His Cross-work.

From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. Matthew 16:21-22

Did you know that Jesus has appeared multiple times to one man since His ascension? (No, we are not Mormons.)

And as he [Paul] journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: Acts 9:3 (KJV)
16  But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I [Jesus] have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Acts 26:16 (KJV)

Why do you suppose that you have not heard of Paul’s teaching of “the dispensation of the Grace of God” or the preaching of “Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery [Grk., musterion, secret]?”

25  Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my [Paul’s] gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, Romans 16:25 (KJV)
1  For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, 2  If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: Ephesians 3:1-2 (KJV)

These are just a few of the things that are not being taught in so-called Bible based churches all across our county. If you are in one of those churches, then it is likely that you are not getting the whole truth and/or distorted or misinterpreted truth.

You may want to talk to your pastor about the things you read on this website, asking him or her about some of the things that you are not being told from the Bible.
