The "At Rest" Christian

The ‘At Rest’ Christian

a Multi-Part Study Series by Arthur J. Licursi

Religion, practiced through human self-effort, has long been God’s enemy and the greatest hindrance to the blessed “REST” available to genuine grace believers who are in an unbreakable union with

the Lord Jesus Christ.

Trusting in Religion’s corrupt hierarchy and its teachings that promote tradition, ritual, and performance requirements only make His “REST” for the soul to be an inaccessible mirage for many.

Jesus spoke two important parables that need to be understood.  In them we learn of four new things for the ‘grace-way of living’; 1) the “new garment” made of “new cloth” and 2) the “new wine” in a “new wineskin.”

These four new items are metaphors for four levels of the experience and understanding of the enjoyment of the riches that God has provided for grace believers… ‘In Christ’… by His Cross-work.

Grace Believers of today’s dispensational age of “the grace of God” may now “Trust” and REST” in

Jesus Christ’s All-Sufficient Finished Work of the Cross!
