In dispensational Christian theology, "the heavenly places" refers to the spiritual realm of heaven “far above,” where God's presence and glory are fully manifested.

This concept is rooted in Ephesians 2:6, which states that believers are "seated with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus." This indicates a spiritual position of connection and authority that is theirs by their spiritual union with the Triune God in heaven “far above” (Eph. 1:21)

Paul confirms the destiny of the members of Christ’s spiritual “body” in Colossians 3:4. This Post-Acts Epistle concerns the members of the Post Acts “church” that Paul calls “the body of Christ.”

“When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in [heaven’s, cf. 3:1] glory.” Colossians 3:4 (KJV)
