“We have… the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Eph. 1:7).
The climax of Paul’s first recorded sermon is reached in Verses 38 and 39 of Acts 13, where he declares:
“Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this Man (Jesus) is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
Part 5 - The Facts of Our New Identity “In Christ”:
During today’s age of “the grace of God” salvation comes to those who do not work for it. Rather those who believe, looking to the Cross of Christ as their source of the liberty from Sin’s power and as the root source of the of resurrection life… flows to those who receive His life by grace through faith alone.
Today, Jesus Christ is “seated” at the right hand of the Father’s throne. (Heb. 8:1) And, since we are “in Christ,” this means that we also are “seated” securely in Him. Now being “seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus,” we in Him are in a position of rest.

God is not today dealing with us as He dealt with Israel in “time past,” we are under grace, not law. Attempting to follow Israel’s Law program will only cause sin to dominate us. God’s grace-based acceptance system involves us placing our faith our Apostle’s epistles, Paul says Christ Jesus lives His life in us and desires to flow through us, thereby making our Christian life pleasing to God.
The moment one first believes that Christ is the risen Savior of their soul they enjoy all “Spiritual blessings" flowing from the heavenly places “in Christ Jesus.”
"If any man be In Christ he is a New Creation (creature)…" (2 Cor. 5:17). "For we are His Workmanship, created In Christ Jesus…" (Eph. 2:10). "... ye are Complete In Him…" (Col. 2:10).
Man's first moral choice was made by Adam and Eve through deception. It was not initiated on Adam or Eve's part; whereas Lucifer's choice to rebel against God was purely willful, saying "I will be like the most High" (Isaiah 14:13-14).
