Faith & Works versus… Faith & a Love Response
Paul, “the Apostle to the Gentiles” (Rom. 11:13) wrote;
"For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace." Romans 6:14 (KJV)

“As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:” – Col 2:6
One symptom of a spiritual growth that is hindered is uncertainty, doubt, and confusion about how we should live. The cause of this does not come from a lack of options or information, but from a misunderstanding of how we receive Christ in the first place.
A ‘shadow law’ is often presented to believers by some that says,
Here below we have a caution from the Apostle Paul.
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity (Gk. haplotes, singleness) that is in Christ.” (2 Corinthians 11:3 (KJV)
“IF thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10)
The souls of men hang in the eternal balance, thus, it’s important to give a clear presentation of “the gospel.” It’s amazing how the Holy Spirit sorts through the maze of confusion regarding the various plans of salvation that have been developed and fostered by ‘man’s religion’ over the years. The Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy, many centuries ago:
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Tim. 3: 16).
The Apostle referred, of course, to the sacred Scriptures, also called The Bible and The Word of God. All of it, he says, is “God-breathed and profitable,” to “teach,” to “reprove,” to “correct” and to “instruct” the believers of “the church, which is His body.”
“Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness” (Rom. 4:3).
Has it ever occurred to you that the most loved, the most honored, the most respected person of all history is — not Christ, but Abraham.
