Most Christians wrongly assume that Sin began with Adam. It is in the light of "sin" occurring previous to the ‘sin of Adam’ that "The Lamb" of God was "slain from the foundation (katabole, the overthrow) of the world (Heb. cosmos, the whole creation arrangement in heaven and on earth).” 

Saved from Eternal Death … by Christ’s Life

The Bible speaks about things for which many people are searching. For example, the Bible answers our questions the creation of the world; the cause of evil in the world; the great cause of death, man’s purpose of existence, and the hope of eternal life.

Believers need to know, understand and appreciate that the salvation they enjoy has to do with these Biblical terms that develop in this order.

God created man in His own “image,” as a vessel well suited to receive and be in union with God.

But, Adam & Eve were tempted of the lie of the Devil to “Sin” in disobedience…

Man has his own ideas of what salvation is, as to what he is saved from and what he is saved to.

“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Proverbs 14:12 (KJV)

But then, “the Word of God” also reveals what God has to say about salvation, being saved from what and saved to what.

All of us as Christians would have to admit that on many levels of our daily life we sometimes know to do right, but we don’t do right, and we also know not to do wrong, but sometimes we do wrong. This failure reveals the conflict between the two natures in us. Thus there is a struggle in every believer’s experience.

Paul wrote that “death reigned from Adam to Moses” (Rom.5:14). That was about 2500 years.

God has put an invisible beeper, a conscience, inside every human being, which warns us when we’re about to do something wrong. At his second appearance before the Diet of Worms, Martin Luther stated about his stand, “To go against conscience is neither right nor safe.”

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Let's consider why it is that humans die and, what then is the hope of mankind?

Consider that the Bible tells us for 2,500 years "death reigned from Adam to Moses"(Rom.5:14). That means death existed before the Law was given to Israel, so its not of God's judgment. There's another cause of man's death entirely.
