‘Pestilence’ as seen in the Bible?
Solomon wrote here of what occurs with the physical death of a human?
Eccl. 12:7 “Then… the dust (body) return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.”
The fact is clearly obvious to all of us that human life is temporary. It is to be explained in this way.
One person referred to Bible-prophecy believers as “doom and gloom” individuals. To him, Bible prophecy was nothing but “bad news.” Consequently, he had no interest whatsoever in considering it or believing it. They think prophecy involves the end of the world, and people fear what they do not understand. This is especially true of Bible concepts, things dealing with the God of creation, which to the mind of “the natural man (unrenewed soul)” is “foolishness” (1 Corinthians 2:14).
The Lord Sets Up the Governments of the World
By Arthur J Licursi
God’s prophet Daniel here interprets the dream of Babylon’s King Belshazzar, which reveals the Lords Sovereignty over the governments and peoples of the world.
“Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye (Israel) know not what hour your Lord doth come” (Matt.24:40-42).
